Shiny Rayquaza to Appear in New Tera Raid Event

The Pokémon Company has announced a special event for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. The legendary Pokémon Shiny Rayquaza with Dragon Tera Type will be available in 5-star Tera Raid Battles. The event will run from December 19, 2024, at 4:00 PM PST to January 5, 2025, at 3:59 PM PST.

To help trainers assemble an effective team and prepare for the battle with Shiny Rayquaza, a series of three preparatory Tera Raid events will be held:

Part 1: Corviknight and Bellibolt

Start: November 28, 2024, at 4:00 PM PST
End: December 5, 2024, at 3:59 PM PST

Part 2: Azumarill and Clodsire

Start: December 5, 2024, at 4:00 PM PST
End: December 12, 2024, at 3:59 PM PST

Part 3: Annihilape and Kingambit

Start: December 12, 2024, at 4:00 PM PST
End: December 19, 2024, at 3:59 PM PST

Mass Outbreaks of Black Shiny Pokémon

During the event period, themed mass outbreaks of Pokémon with black Shiny forms will also occur. Fraxure, Carbink, and Cetoddle will appear more frequently in the wild, and exclusive rewards available only during the event can be obtained.
